Northumbrian Water receive their Business Resilience and Climate Change Adaptation award at the North East Regional Awards for Excellence 2010. Climate change is set to have a major impact on utility companies in many different ways, but a wide range of projects are already being carried out by Northumbrian Water to address, minimise and remove these threats wherever possible.
