    01 November 2012

Last month, the IBM Start Summit ‘Sustainable Infrastructure for Smarter Cities’ convened a group of stakeholders around big sustainable infrastructure challenges facing the UK. A select group of people and organisations came together to debate and create action plans for four cities (Leeds, Glasgow, Burnley and Fareham) and their sustainable infrastructure challenges.

The event was highly engaging and an action plan was created for each city to take forward. All the outcomes and ideas that emerged from the day have been captured in an e-book. The e-book also details a 60-day plan for the future; what will be done next and how this will happen as we work together to help solve the challenges of our cities.
