The Mayday Network is hosting an online debate to discuss the new carrier bag charging policy in Wales. 6 weeks after it’s launch, it is a chance for retailers to share their experiences with implementing the compulsory charge.
We would like as many Welsh businesses that have been affected by the new policy to join us for this lively debate. We will have a guest panellist from the British Retail Consortium who will give us the view on such a charge from the industry body. The debate will also be of interest to other non- Welsh retailers who can gain insight into the effect charging for carrier bags has on internal processes.
The online debate will take place here at 1pm on Tuesday 22nd November.
